We are thrilled to finally share with you all a gorgeous wedding Amanda photographed at the J and D Farms in Southside, AL. The bride and groom were absolutely precious and so stylish! We adore rustic and unique weddings here at Simply Bloom, and this styled pic nic wedding  was certainly one of them!

So many thoughtful and personalized details made this wedding flawlessly unique!

And of course our favorite photo-time is always with the bride and groom- loving on each other on their most special day!

Maternity Photography Huntsville, AL | Baby Shower Photos

I have finally reached the 9 month mark and to celebrate, Christine took photos of me, my baby belly and hubby. I absolutely adore the photos, and I will never be able to say the appropriate thanks to Christine for capturing our little budding family.

We started the session in a nursery….

We then went to one of my favorite locations and she captured some soft and timeless portraits of this very important time in our lives…

And now for more personal & mama-related-posts… here is a peek at the grandiose baby shower that Christine, my mom and my sister threw me. These 3 women could seriously rule the world, every detail they organized was completely flawless and honestly the day might just have been more beautiful than my wedding day ;)

Christine created the design elements, while my mother and sister prepared all the food! yes, all the perfect pastries were made by my mother—a baking genius!

Mandii Marie of Laughter and Snow created the gorgeous calligraphy pieces.

I felt so loved and so blessed, not only because so much hard work and thought was put into my baby’s shower– but mostly because I really did feel exactly that, SHOWERED with love.

So honored to have the shower featured on SpearMint Baby !

I hope you’re not tired of all this baby news, because up next I would like to share with you all a very personal room in my house, my little one’s nursery :)

Thank you again to all the amazing people in my life who have been so warm, caring and present throughout this time. I am so very very blessed.

Finery | A new bridal boutique in Huntsville, AL

One of our delightful brides from 2009 has recently opened up a glorious bridal boutique in Huntsville, AL- FINERY

We visited the shop yesterday and even though we knew Madeline’s taste is otherworldly,  we were still smitten by the beauty of it all. It was hard to leave the beautiful shop.

“Finery” is located in downtown Huntsville (109 Jefferson Street, Suite 12 around the building). We could not resist snapping a few IPHONE photos:

Huntsville is fortunate to have such a glorious store carrying some of the best wedding designers, such as: Heidi Elnora, Olia Zavozina, Tara Keely for Lazaro, Sarah Seven, Nicole Miller, Watters and more. If you are in the Huntsville area and are wanting the best of the best for your wedding, you simply must stop at Finery.

She stood back quietly and listen to the dreams of what my daughter wanted in a wedding dress and within one hour she was wearing it. I thought how can I describe what she did for us?
