Baby Photography Huntsville, AL | Baby Boy Aqua Nursery
Keeping the personal baby posts rolling. As I promised, I wanted to share with all of you my baby’s nursery. When we found out it was a boy I took the nursery as a project to pour all my excitement and anticipation into! I wanted it to be a soothing room. I considered the idea of a playful room, but as a fanatic of all things old and rustic, I just couldn’t stray away from my vintage style.
One of the main things I wanted to accomplish was a room that would “grow” with baby, and I believe that I accomplished that (minus the crib of course).
I began the enormous task of designing our first baby’s room with none other than an inspiration board of ideas and a color pallet. There were a few pieces I just knew I had to have such as the jute chandelier, the wall paper and and a serene sheep mobile. Everything else built upon these elements throughout my research.
I also wanted magical and dreamy touches, that’s why I decided to incorporate a quote from a Disney song on the wooden sign my husband built. I also “carved” peter pan out of paper alongside whimsical wording in the pages of a vintage book.
I left the room with a lot of space for Ezra to one day pick and choose things and toys he might want to add, so the room will truly be his own creation.
Ezra’s nursery was featured on Spearmint baby (see it here!)

Pregnancy | Belly Growth
Some of you may know that I was recently blessed with a little baby boy: Ezra— 2 months ago to be exact. I feel reborn into a more luminous life because of him. Because of him, I am happy every.day. When he first showed his smile at me I thought my heart was going to give out. Now Christine and I can share something even deeper, we are both mamas to two handsome, very sweet boys
I was inspired by Christine documenting her belly growth (see here) , and although this project was at times tedious, I am so so very glad that I committed to capturing each week as Ezra grew inside of me.
Now that my maternity leave is coming to an end, I look forward to blogging again about our business, the gorgeous people we photograph, our travels, our boys, our lives and our beloved new endeavor, Bloom Theory.
