You might have heard of a blog called OhHelloFriend. It is a craft oriented site with glorious inspiration created by the lovely Danni. When we discovered her site a few months ago, we knew we had to work together. Our tastes and styles were so similar, we knew that together we could create something truly unique. Danni & Nick are from southern California (SoCal), and when they heard we were going to be in Vegas, they took the plunge and drove out with a car full of props to sin city. The weather was horrible on the day of their session, rainy, muddy, and cold. It was made that much worse by the fact that we were in the DESERT! and it was a total oxymoron! However, Danni confessed she LOVES the rain, she had hoped it had rained for her engagement session, and she hopes it will rain on her wedding day! This describes how purely original Danni really is at heart! Her love for the rain was infectious, and we were all more excited about these photos. Danni and Nick styled their shoot completely, their ideas and execution helped us create something truly surreal against the grand mountainous backgrounds. If you want to read Danni’s thoughts & tips on engagement wardrobe and prop shopping, you simply MUST read the 100Layer Cake feature, and the Green Wedding Shoes feature!
One more thing that must be mentioned, is that Danni and Nick have such a true love for each other. They are indescribably sweet to people and each other. It seems as if nothing in the world could ever anger them; rather, join them more tightly. They are a true example of deep love in a young couple. While we were chatting with D&N on our way back from the desert to Las Vegas, as they talked the couple seemed in perfect harmony, stroking each others’ arms, glancing at each other, finishing each others thoughts, and being completely magnetic.
Danni and Nick, you guys deserve the world. We have loved getting to know you and been able to collaborate with such artistic individuals! We wish you all the very best with your wedding and marriage!
