Honolulu Hawaii Destination Wedding Photographers

Let’s escape to Hawaii today with this glorious session we photographed in the north shore of Honolulu, Oahu! The weather in November in Honolulu was completely divine. Breezy and warm and just the perfect amount of rays shone down from the sun. We hit it off with Megan and Alex within minutes. There was definitely a chemistry of comfort between us, something rare that we cherish with our clients. Megan and Alex were honeymooning in Hawaii and wanted artistic photos on the shores of some of the most precious beaches in the world, can you blame them!?

Megan and Alex, we can’t tell you how much we enjoyed meeting you and photographing you in this glorious environment, thank you for the opportunity- we sure hope we will be able to meet again in the future

We are so proud and completely giddy to introduce to you our new product brand & online store : BLOOM THEORY.

Sigh… it feels so good to finally release and share with all of you this giant endeavor we’ve been pouring ourselves into for the past year.

BLOOM THEORY was a dream we’ve had for quite some time. A dream to offer completely unique, stylish, feminine and modern camera straps. We then worked very hard to bring this dream to a reality for photographers around the country and world! (we ship everywhere!)

We’ve always hated (yes, hate is a strong word, but truly we did HATE) having to wear standardized, industrial type straps around our necks for shoots and elegant events such as weddings! To us, aesthetics matter and we have a hunch that you care about them too! We believe that other photographers are just like us, artists through and through. Therefore, help us honor this union between practicality, function and simply beautiful STYLE!

This wedding celebration was a mix of all things lovely: lace, cacti, peonies, sparkles, and balloons! It has it ALL! Lialah, the bride is stylish, design conscious and girly. Lialah and Daniel designed a wedding which was so personalized.

A bride cannot go wrong with sparkly BHLDN shoes paired with Anthropologie lace tights!

Lialah’s beaded Collette Dinnigan’s gown was jaw-dropping… such a sophisticated wedding gown…

Garden District put together the most playful floral arrangements for all the wedding party, reception and ceremony decor… all the blooms were colorful and in harmony…

Lady Bugg Bakery created a very unique cake for Lialah and Daniel. Lialah is a very talented graphic designer so she created the quirky cake topper herself!

See? I wasn’t kidding this wedding really DOES have it ALL! Working with this couple was a photographer’s dream and we thank Lialah and Daniel sincerely for letting us be a part of their wedding and engagement

My Miracle

I have enjoyed having this miraculous secret for the past 3+ months, but it’s now time to share the joy with the world:

It still feels completely surreal that we are expecting a BABY! The seldom moments where it really hits my heart and mind simultaneously, it moves me to happy tears. Having a baby is something we thought about through and through, and quickly, we ran out of reasons not to have one. October will be the best month of our lives, this year will be the best one of our lives. We are so blessed, each baby is a little miracle, and we now get to experience one of our very own.

When the two pink lines immediately appeared on the positive test, I broke out into a hot sweat, looked up, smiled, and whispered “God, you are beautiful”.
